I am a human-environment geographer studying rural land use and livelihood change in the U.S. and Central America with a focus on how social, political, and economic factors shape rural communities' ability to adapt to environmental change as well as adaptation outcomes. My work contributes to the fields of political ecology, global environmental change, and environmental justice. I am an Assistant Professor of Geography at Oregon State University and work with an amazing lab of graduate and undergraduate students.
